Today we collectively decided to sleep in since we had no firm plans in the morning. We ended up getting up around 9am which it felt good to sleep in.
We then per usual packed up, checked out, and went on our way to explore the day. Since we didn’t have to be at the train station until 4pm, we kept our baggage at the hotel which was so nice.
Our first stop was breakfast. We took a look at a list of recommendations from Trish and Manasi and decided on Boojee Cafe for breakfast. Such a great rec! Molly, Mac and I got the breakfast burgers which slapped. Hunter got another one of the sandwiches and said it was just as good. Mac & I also ventured away from coffee and got hot chocolate which was literally melted chocolate, so rich but so good. Overall it was a great way to start the day.

Our next stop was a shirt store the boys wanted to check out (Bombay Shirts). The store sadly did not sell ready to wear clothing, so we continued on our journey. “Everything was so sick tho, def a bummer” – Mac. Our next stop was a leather store Mac wanted to check out. On our way there, however, we found a store that had some linen shirts that both Mac and Hunter were seeming. We stopped in a for a moment and they each got a shirt.
Then we continued on our way the leather store. The leather store was stunning and there were so many beautiful pieces that I think every one of us ended up getting an item or two.
Lastly, we headed to one of Mac’s friends friends stores, who does up-cycling of clothing. There we found so many fun finds including a collective 4 pairs of jeans.
Then we headed to a liquor store to grab a bottle of whisky, and a market to find a snack for MacKenzie to eat. We then hopped in an uber and headed back to the hotel.

We had 30ish minutes, so we of course headed back to the hotel bar and ordered a round of Cokes and fries. We then grabbed our bags and headed to the train station.
We arrived at the train station at 4:15 and made our way to platform 6 where our train was located. We met up with Trish and headed straight onto the train and found our seats (& beds).

On the train we pretty much just hung out and vibed. After a while the camera crew came by for a while which was a hoot. We then continued to hang out for a while with different folks coming and going. The best part of the train though was that they had these apps that were like UberEats or DoorDash, but they would bring the food to your exact door on the train. With this we were able to order pizza and got a round of McDonalds. It was epic!! Around 10pm, I decided to finally get some sleep and headed to bed.

The train beds weren’t the most comfortable and after about an hour I woke up freezing, but grabbed a blanket and headed back to sleep. Probably got a good 6ish hours of sleep with the waking up and sleeping. It was slightly better than I had anticipated, which was a string start. I eventually was woken up enough to get out of bed and start collecting items to get ready to get off the train as it was arriving to the Ranthambhore station at 6:30ish.
Let the celebration continue on my official next day!
