Goodmorning!
Today was our day we decided to explore the Swedish archipelago. We woke up, grabbed a cinnamon roll, grabbed some food at the grocery store for the day, and then headed to the ferry to take us to Grinda.
Grinda is an island in the Swedish archipelago that is known for its hiking trails. We headed to the ferry port around 9:30 to take the 2 hour ferry boat to Grinda. We sat outside on the boat and took in all the views through the archipelago on our way to our final destination of Grinda. We arrived to the island around 12pm and began our hike around the island. Mac & I choose to do the roughly 5 mile hike around the island.

There was a beautiful path around the island, so we just started cruising around. We hiked chatting, vibing, and taking in the view around the island. It was a fun path through a wooded area as well as views of the water surrounding. Around 2 miles we decided to find a big rock to eat some lunch. For lunch, we bought a loaf of bread & cheese (Brie & Gouda) which was such a vibe for lunch on the rock.

We finished up eating and then continued our hike around the island. We realized we were going to finish up earlier than expected with our hike and didn’t want to wait for the 6pm ferry. The earlier ferry was around 4:30, so we hung out on the dock for a while waiting.

We ended up grabbing the earlier ferry back to the city so we had some more time to continue to explore. On the ferry back we again took in the views while sitting outside and trying to plan the rest of our night ahead.

We got back to mainland, around 6pm and decided to explore the city and check out a brewery. We walked a bit more and then we headed into an outside beer garden. We hung out and had a couple of beers for a while. After a while, we were debating where to go for dinner and decided to go to Max’s Burgers.
We ordered a classic couple burgers, some fries and a Coke. We ate dinner, Mac started having a minor reaction (big sad). Mac took some Benadryl and we started heading by to the back to the hotel. We had like a 45 minute walk back to the hotel, so we slowly walked back.
Goodnight from Sweden night 2!
