Good morning! Today we were off to the next location of the trip and where Mac & I’s next adventure begins.
We woke up around 9am and headed downstairs to get coffee and breakfast. Our only item on the agenda was to grab a little snack before hopping on the train to the airport again.
After breakfast, we jetted off to the grocery store, grabbed some chocolate and a couple snacks and then headed back to the hotel. We then grabbed our bags, and walked to the train station.
We walked to the train station, hopped on the train, and then off at the airport. We headed to lounge, then to the gate and then boarded the plane. The plane was super short 2 hour flight, and we finally landed around 4:30 in Sweden. We hopped off the plane and went to the hotel to check in. Once we checked in, we then went out to get a cinnamon roll. And man was it delicious!
Today was our first night, so we chose to go out and explore a bit of the city. We started by walking through the city and trying to find a couple cool galleries to explore. Then we started walking through Gamla Stan. It was a very touristy but pretty awesome to walk through the small streets and see the buildings full of color.
We walked around for a while before trying to find a place for dinner. We got some recommendations from Mac’s friends from college and found one close by.
We went to a brewery and a place famous for mussels. It was delicious! After dinner, we continued to walk around for a while and grab one last drink at a brewery near by before deciding to head to bed a bit early so we could wake up early.
