Good morning from our ferry boat!
This was my first time waking up on a boat which was fun. We woke up and had to check out of our rooms by 10am, which was nice to be able to sleep in a bit. We then headed down to breakfast which was another buffet.
The breakfast was actually quite good again with a fairly strong variety of items. We had breakfast for a while and hung out taking in more of the views around us.
The boat was planned to arrive back in Bergen around 2:30pm which meant after breakfast we had ~4 more hours to kill. Although, around 11:30 they had everyone up to the top deck to celebrate their journey and have a champagne toast (some people did a whole ferry excursion for 14 days hence the toast to a good trip). We only participated in the last day.
It was fun to have the toast and then we just walked around, hung out and vibed for the rest of the time before getting in line to get off the boat which was a pain.

We finally got off, collected our bags and walked to our new hotel in Bergen. Lucy and my parents had to head out that night, so sadly, this was our last day with everyone. We went and checked into the hotel in Bergen and then changed to head to the pool/sauna/fjord diving area at the end of town. This was on our list and since it was a bit of a nicer day, it was a great day to do it.
We arrived and did some back and forth between the sauna and ‘cold plunge’ jumping into the fjords. It was honestly a blast and I loved it! After an hour or two, we got dressed and headed back to the hotel to change and head to dinner.
We decided to go to dinner at this place called Olivia. It was delicious and I think the best Hugo Sprits of the trip. After dinner, we walked around the city a bit more before going to the speakeasy in the hotel to have our final send off.

The speakeasy was very cool and had great cocktails, unfortunately for MacKenzie, he was allergic to something in the air / fragrance of the bar. We finished our drinks and then said our goodbyes to my parents and Lucy as they had a flight early the next morning.
It was truly a spectacular trip with the whole family!
Goodnight 🙂
