Good morning! Now that everyone had officially made it to Bergen, today was our first day of exploring with everyone. We woke up around 9am and met everyone in the lobby 15ish minutes later.
We then realized it was pouring rain, but we still made our way to a coffee shop we had seen the previous day and were excited to try. We walked around and someone lead us astray to the wrong, smaller, coffee shop, so we were in the rain a bit more than we had anticipated in the morning. We eventually found the one we were seeking, went in and ordered an assortment of pastries and coffee.

We sat and ate our breakfast, hoping the rain would stop. Unfortunately, the rain did not stop, so we decided to go to the collective of museums ~20 minute walk from the coffee shop.
We put on our raincoats and grabbed our umbrellas and headed off. Our first stop was the Koda museum which had Munch paintings. This was actually a very cool art museum and I think everyone enjoyed it. Afterward, we headed to the contemporary Koda and this had some very unique art forms. We were not as big of fans of this one.
Museums are typically not on the list of items to do in places for a Rogers family vacation, but since it was raining, we stopped in. They were not our favorite things, so we only went to two before deciding to just embrace the rain and continuing exploring town.

After exploring a bit more we decided to pop into a brewery to grab a few beers and get out of the rain for a bit. We found a little sports pub and got a beer and a few apps. We chatted and hung out for a while before deciding to continue our exploration.

We walked to the of the peninsula of Bergen and found a little beach. We skipped some rocks and took a view pics on the pier. We than realized the Troll museum was going to close soon, so we hustled across town. It was too busy, so they asked us to wait a bit, after waiting a little we decided it actually probably wasn’t worth it. We then balled and went outside to realize the rain was lighting up.

So we took this time to walk in and out of a few touristy shops and honestly just stand outside in the sun for a while. After a little longer we headed to a sushi spot for dinner, Nama, the food was delicious but the service was very slow. We weren’t in a rush, so we didn’t mind, but it was very slow.
We then decided we wanted some ice cream so tried to get it from McDonalds unfortunately they have the same problem as the US and the machine was broken. We then just walked across the street and got from a vendor.
We debated if we wanted to grab a nightcap or head back, and we all opted for a quick night cap, so went to this cute little cocktail bar called Last Monkey for a quick nightcap before heading off to bed.

Goodnight!
