Travel With Phie

Good morning! 

Today was another travel day but instead of a car, we took a flight from Jaipur to Delhi. We woke up at 6:30, so we could pack up and head to breakfast before heading to the airport. 

We headed to breakfast around 7am. We ate just as well as the day before and the service was just as spectacular! Mac and I both ordered French toast and it was delicious. We wrapped up breakfast and headed to grab our bags and check out. 

We checked out and went on our way to the airport. We were a little worried the airport would be packed, but it was super smooth. We checked out bags, went through security and even found a lounge to hangout in for a bit before heading to the gate. We arrived to the gate at perfect timing where they were boarding and we hopped right on. 

The flight was pretty easy, again not shockingly, I just slept most of the way. We arrived in Mumbai around 12:00pm, headed off the plane, grabbed our bags and then attempted to find the uber location for way to long. We eventually found the pickup location and arrived at our hotel around 2:00pm. Our rooms weren’t quite ready, so we went to the bar and grabbed some fries and beers. 

We hung out at the bar and started playing euchre before getting yelled at as card games (unless it’s uno) is illegal in certain states in India which Mumbai is one. Oops! We then just enjoyed each others company and a beer for a while until our rooms were ready. 

Once they were ready, we headed up to the rooms and decided to have a quick gym workout before our Henna Party that night. We all joined up, did our quick workouts and then showered and got ready. The boys then practiced their dance in the gym too! We then met up again in the lobby around 5pm and headed out to Trish’s place for the party. 

The place was amazing! There was a little photo area/dance floor as well as an area for henna. We hung out for a while and then Molly & I got out hands done, which meant the rest of the night I could touch anything haha. I had Mac feed me a little food and couple sips of water, but we just hung out, danced and vibed. 

Hunter and Mac had a couple rituals to join in on, so Molly and I headed back to the hotel. Once we got back, we headed straight to the bar for a night cap (or two). We chatted and hung out for a while. We then engaged in conversation with the two guys sitting next to us and the best quote of the night from him was, “I’m a man who wears Cartier glasses, I only smoke California Weed.” And that’s pretty much all you needed to take away from the conversation. 

The boys got back an hour or so after us and we finished our drinks and headed upstairs for our early start of festivities tomorrow.
