Today we woke up a bit earlier around 9:30 and headed to Martina’s family house to have breakfast before our drive to Segovia. We had a similar breakfast to the day before which included toast, fruit, and yummy crossiants. Once we finished breakfast we went on our way to the old town of Segovia.
This was another decently long drive of about an hour / hour and a half. As soon as we stepped out of the car, it was a beautiful view into the city. The city was surrounded by an old aquaduck. We walked around the city taking in the views, streets, and aquaduck. We stopped into a couple shops as well as a cute little muesum/school. It was a great morning, but I think the lunch we had might have been one of the most memorial times of the trip.

We stopped in for lunch at Restaurante Lazaro. The food was delicious but the interaction we had with a fellow customer was the best part. We were waiting for our food when the following conversation took place….
Deckland: To my dad, “You look like a movie buff” Dad: “yes, kind of” Deckland: “I have a new movie coming out” Dad: “Oh, are you a producer” Deckland: “I am an actor, but am more popular in the states, so I have to come over here”
Such a funny moment for all us and one that will definetly not be forgotten.
After we finished eating our delicious food we continued to explore the city for a while. We went and saw the city castle before getting back in the car and driving for a better view. The view was absolutely immacuate that we got out of the car and took quite a few photos.

Once our photoshoot was over we drove another 30 or so minutes to the summer gardens (Jardines del Palacio). We walked around for around an hour exploring these massive gardens. They were stunning and we had a blast walking around. Once we were able to take in most of the views, we continued back to Martina’s home town to grab dinner and explore where she grew up a bit more.

Lucy and Martina this night went out with her friends to the festival, the rest of us enjoyed dinner and hung out for a while before leaving and going to bed. We had a long day of driving the next day we wanted to get some rest in.
Goodnight!
