Day 8: Travel & Beach Day

We only had 2 real days left of our vacation at this point and heard about the amazing beaches in Thailand, so decided to spend the last 2 days there. We wanted to find one that was close to Bangkok and a way to ensure we could make it back for our international flight home. This led us to end up at Hua Hin – a beautiful little beach town.

We woke up, grabbed some breakfast, did a little walk around town before grabbing a taxi and heading back to the airport to make our journey to Hua Hin.

Our flight was at 3ish and was a quick flight, only about an hour. We boarded, watched a quick show, and landed in Hua Hin. Once we landed, we again took a taxi to the hotel and checked-in.

Once we were checked-in, we headed to the pool to hangout and read for a while to fully relax while the sun was still shining.

After laying by the pool, we headed to explore town and possibly find a place for dinner. While exploring town, we hopped into a couple of stores and walked through a couple of markets. We didn’t find a restaurant that stood out to us, so we ended up at the hotel restaurant which was delicious.

The restaurant had authentic Thai food which was exactly what we were looking for as we didn’t have much time left on our amazing adventure.

After dinner, we headed up to the hotels rooftop bar which was very cool as you could see the entire coast line. We hung out, chatted and enjoyed our almost to last night in Thailand.

Once we finished our drinks (little night cap), we headed to back to our room to head to bed, so we could enjoy a full beach morning.
